"Voltige" is the result of 5 years devoted to photographying european passerines in dynamic attitudes as you have never seen them : take off, landing, flight, fight, etc... I used high speed photography technics to be able to freeze the birds in postures impossible to see with the naked eye.
The images from this book have all been taken in a natural environment. Birds are totally free and are attracted in front of the camera thanks to sunflower seeds. A white board has been set as background to obtain the desired effect. There is no special post-production editing except for the usual exposure, contrast and saturation tuning.
11 species are presented : Great Tit, Blue Tit, Green Finch, Gold Finch, Eurasian Siskin, European Serin, Common Chaffinch, Brambling, Dunnock, European Robin, House Sparrow.
